If you’ve been pondering commissioning a portrait, today is the day to do it!  I have a special running over at Jasmere where you purchase $65 towards a portrait for only $28 (um that’s 57% off!).  This is only for today and you need to purchase it through the Jasmere website.

It felt sooo good to have a nice long weekend.  Sometimes it’s hard for me to stop working (a downfall to working out of your home/loving what you do, could be worse!).  This weekend, though, with warm perfect days it wasn’t so hard.  A few photos of the weekend.

Tomorrow I will be doing a big shop update with a lot of new prints!  stay tuned..

I just added a few new prints to my shop.  True story, my daughter had a friend over a few weeks ago and she saw the campfire piece sitting out:

her:  “what are those girls doing?”

 me: “building a campfire”

her: “it looks like they’re using a chair”

me:  “they are”

her (to my daughter)   “your moms weird”

I just added a few new prints to the shop.  I am hoping to add several more sometime next week, also.

I’m so excited for the biz ladies meet up tonight!  I’m very much a home body but for this I can’t wait.

Yesterday we celebrated my daughter’s eighth birthday (8!), with a pool party.  I made a sandcastle cake and she had the best time.  Certain birthdays always surprise me.  When they turn from 3 to 4, it seems like such a big jump to me, and now 7 to 8 feels the same.  Like we are leaving one stage and entering another.

I’ve had my eye on this amazing lighting for a while now.  Really just beautiful.

I am finishing up on some new portrait designs I am really excited about.  Hopefully they will be up and available in the next week.  I’ll let you know.
